Some pages link to other websites. Once a reader follows one of those links they are on a site with its own practices, and nothing described here applies to it.

Nothing is written to the device a reader arrives on. A reader arrives, reads a document, and leaves nothing behind.

This is a description of a build, so it is revised whenever the build is. It is written to reflect the site as it stands, not as an aspiration.
